Man arrested for killing 2 persons with stones

A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly murdering two persons by smashing their heads with stones in Jharkhand’s Palamu district, police said on Tuesday.

Both murders occurred on January 16, one in Chainpur police station area and the other in the Town police station area. The accused has been identified as Chunmun Chaudhary alias Ajit Chaudhary from Kalyanpur village, they said.

“We arrested the accused on Monday with the help of technical and human intelligence. He has confessed to the crime,” Palamu Superintendent of Police Reeshma Ramesan said.
