Father and Son Stabbed to Death in Delhi’s CR Park, Accused Detained
Delhi Police have arrested the accused in the CR Park double murder case in South Delhi, where a father and son were stabbed to death and another relative was injured. The victims were identified as Rakesh Sood, aged 62, and Karan Sood, aged 27, who were declared dead at Max Super Speciality Hospital.
Police said a third victim, cousin Rahul, survived the attack and is undergoing treatment. Based on his statement, investigators identified the accused as Asad Siddiqui, who allegedly attacked all three victims with a sharp weapon around 6 PM.
According to Additional DCP South West Aishwarya Singh, the accused was traced and arrested through technical surveillance, digital footprints, and manual intelligence. The vehicle allegedly used to flee the scene has also been seized.
Police believe the motive behind the murders was a financial dispute, while earlier statements also indicated a long-standing personal enmity. An FIR has been registered at CR Park Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
