The Uttarakhand Transport Corporation has reduced bus fares on the Delhi–Dehradun Economic Corridor following the opening of the new expressway, aiming to provide faster, affordable, and comfortable travel for passengers.

Assistant General Manager Prateek Jain said trial runs conducted on April 14 using Volvo and smaller vehicles showed that buses could complete the journey from Dehradun ISBT to Delhi ISBT in just 2 hours and 55 minutes.

Under the revised fare structure, Volvo bus fares have been reduced from ₹945 to ₹709, AC bus fares from ₹704 to ₹507, and ordinary bus fares from ₹430 to ₹355. Officials said passengers have welcomed the fare cuts and faster travel time, which are expected to boost connectivity between Delhi and Dehradun.
