Delhi Police Recover 0.5 Kg High-Quality Cocaine

Delhi: The Inter State Cell of the Crime Branch has busted a major interstate drug syndicate and recovered around 0.5 kg of high-quality cocaine, commonly referred to as crank, valued at approximately ₹5 crore.

Officials said that on April 10, 2026, acting on specific intelligence inputs, the team apprehended Javed Hussain from Delhi.

A total of 456 grams of high-grade cocaine was recovered from his possession.

Following the seizure, an FIR under Section 21 of the NDPS Act was registered at the Crime Branch police station and investigation was launched.

During interrogation, Javed Hussain allegedly disclosed that the contraband had been procured from Soib Khan, a resident of Bareilly.

Subsequently, Javed was taken on police remand, and a follow-up raid was conducted in Bareilly on April 22 with assistance from local police.

During the operation, Soib Khan was apprehended from his residence and arrested in the case.

Police are continuing investigations to trace the wider interstate narcotics network.
