Fuel Supplies Stable in Bengaluru, Gujarat and Char Dham Route: HPCL

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has dismissed reports suggesting fuel shortages in different parts of the country and assured customers that fuel supplies remain stable and uninterrupted across its retail network.

In a series of social media statements, HPCL clarified that reports claiming shortages at fuel stations in Bengaluru were misleading and did not reflect the actual situation on the ground. The company stated that there is no overall shortage of petrol or diesel products at its outlets in the city.

The oil marketing company also addressed concerns related to fuel availability in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand, stating that supplies are being maintained normally and there is no disruption affecting consumers.

Additionally, HPCL reassured pilgrims travelling along the Char Dham Yatra route in Uttarakhand that fuel supplies at its retail outlets in Chamoli district continue without interruption. The company added that fuel distribution across Gujarat also remains stable and adequately supported.

According to HPCL, its regional and zonal monitoring teams are closely tracking the situation and have already implemented multiple operational measures to ensure uninterrupted fuel availability. The company said regular dispatches are being carried out based on dealer requirements and consumer demand.

HPCL further appealed to the public not to engage in panic buying or spread unverified information circulating on social media platforms. Officials emphasised that the overall fuel supply situation remains manageable and fully under control.

The clarification comes amid growing public concern triggered by online rumours and isolated reports about supply disruptions at certain retail outlets in different regions.
