NHRC Seeks Reports Over Allegations of Conversion and Harassment at TCS Nashik Office
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has written to multiple authorities, including the Maharashtra Director General of Police, seeking reports in connection with allegations of religious conversion and sexual harassment at the Tata Consultancy Services office in Nashik.
According to the commission’s letter, the complaint was filed by the Legal Rights Observatory, which alleged that an organised racket involving religious conversion and sexual exploitation was being operated within the TCS office in Nashik, Maharashtra.
The NHRC has sought responses from concerned departments as part of its preliminary inquiry into the matter. Further action is expected based on the reports submitted by the authorities.
