West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee Files Nomination

Today is the last date for filing nominations for the second and final phase of the general election in West Bengal.

Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee filed her nomination on Wednesday.

Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee filed her nomination from Bhabanipur. She will be contesting from the Bhabanipur Assembly constituency in this election. Before filing her nomination, she joined a road show from her home to the Survey building.

Earlier last week, Bharatiya Janata Party’s candidate and Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikary filed his nomination from Bhabanipur, which was attended by senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
