Mamata Banerjee Targets BJP in Fiery Kolkata Speech

Mamata Banerjee launched a sharp political attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party during a public address in Kolkata, asserting that her party would strongly resist what she described as injustice and attempts to weaken West Bengal.

Addressing supporters, Banerjee alleged that individuals linked to the BJP had been appointed to key positions and claimed that the party did not have the strength to defeat her political movement in Bengal.

She said she was born in Bengal and would remain committed to the state, adding that the fight was about protecting rights and standing against injustice.

In strongly worded remarks, the Trinamool Congress chief declared that after securing victory in Bengal, her larger political objective would be to challenge the BJP at the national level and remove it from power in New Delhi.

The comments come amid an intense election campaign in West Bengal, where political rhetoric between the All India Trinamool Congress and BJP has sharply escalated.
