Teacher Recruitment to Follow Rules and Court Orders, Says WBSSC Chief
Newly appointed WBSSC Chairman Dushyant Nariala has said the commission is working to complete the ongoing teacher recruitment process at the earliest, while ensuring that all appointments strictly follow commission rules and court orders.
KOLKATA: Newly appointed West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) Chairman Dushyant Nariala on Tuesday said efforts are underway to complete the ongoing teacher recruitment process at the earliest.
Nariala stressed that all appointments would be made strictly in accordance with the commission’s rules and court orders, highlighting the importance of following the established legal and regulatory framework during the recruitment process.
Nariala, a senior IAS officer, addressed a press conference in Kolkata alongside four newly appointed members of the commission.
Three of the newly appointed members are monks associated with educational institutions run by the Ramakrishna Mission. The fourth member is Prof Ramya Tarakada Venkateshwaran, a faculty member of the Strategic Management Group at IIM Calcutta.
The newly constituted commission is expected to oversee the ongoing recruitment process while ensuring that appointments comply with the applicable rules and directions issued by the courts.
