Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall Expected Across India Tomorrow: IMD
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds across several parts of the country tomorrow, with multiple states expected to experience intense weather conditions and localized disruptions.

States expected to witness intense rainfall include Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerala, Mahe, Odisha, and Coastal and South Interior Karnataka.
According to the IMD, rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is also likely over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jharkhand, Lakshadweep, West Bengal, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Uttarakhand. In the Northeast, similar weather conditions are expected across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
The weather agency has further predicted heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, East Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and West Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, thunderstorms and lightning are also likely to affect Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Telangana, and Sikkim, prompting residents to remain cautious and follow weather advisories issued by local authorities.
