The Nehru Children’s Museum in Kolkata has announced that it will continue functioning after receiving an assurance of full support from the West Bengal government. The announcement was made on Thursday through an official notice issued by the museum’s secretary, Indrani Sengupta.

According to the notice, the museum will remain open as the state government has pledged its complete support to ensure the institution’s continued operation. The assurance has brought relief to the museum, which plays an important role in promoting education and cultural learning among children.

The museum also expressed its gratitude to Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, Chief Adviser Subrata Gupta, and Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Santanu Basu for their intervention. Officials said the government’s backing would help the institution continue its activities effectively and serve visitors without interruption.
