Students Urged to Ignore Social Media Rumours About NEET Paper Leak

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has strongly refuted reports circulating on social media and messaging platforms regarding an alleged leak, advance access, or sale of the NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination question paper.

In an official statement shared through its social media channels, the agency described such claims as false and misleading. NTA stated that the content being circulated is the work of organized cheating rackets that exploit the anxiety and concerns of students and their families during the examination period.

The agency emphasized that the integrity and security of the examination process remain fully intact. According to NTA, robust safeguards and monitoring mechanisms have been put in place to ensure that the examination is conducted fairly, transparently, and securely for all candidates.

NTA further informed that it is actively tracking and reporting channels, social media accounts, and online content involved in spreading misinformation. The agency said that details of offending platforms and individuals are being shared with cybercrime authorities and concerned service providers for immediate action and removal of such content.

Candidates and parents have been advised not to engage with, pay money to, or share messages claiming to provide access to examination papers. The agency warned that such solicitations are fraudulent and intended to deceive aspirants.

Urging students to remain calm and focused on their preparation, NTA appealed to aspirants to ignore rumours and rely only on information released through its official website and verified communication channels. The agency reiterated its commitment to maintaining the credibility and fairness of one of the country’s most important entrance examinations.
