Massive Exam Conducted Across 551 Cities in India

The NEET-UG 2026 examination was successfully conducted across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad, marking one of the largest entrance tests globally.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the headquarters of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to review the preparedness and execution of the examination.

During his visit, the minister assessed key operational aspects such as examination logistics, coordination with centres, and real-time monitoring systems designed to ensure a smooth and fair conduct of the test.

Officials said extensive arrangements were made to manage the large number of candidates and maintain transparency and efficiency throughout the process.

The visit underscores the government’s focus on ensuring the integrity and seamless conduct of major national-level examinations.
