Delhi Police Arrest Four Radicalised Youth from Three States
The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four radicalised youths from Maharashtra, Odisha, and Bihar in a major anti-terror operation. According to police, the accused were allegedly influenced by extremist ideology advocating the establishment of a Caliphate and were inspired by narratives linked to “Khurasan” and “Ghazwa-e-Hind.”
Investigators said the group was actively radicalising and recruiting others through encrypted social media platforms. An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from one of the accused during the operation.
Police further stated that two members were allegedly collecting locally sourced materials to assemble a remote-controlled IED for a possible terror strike. Another accused is suspected of raising funds through QR code and bank transfers to support jihad-related activities, while also promising arms procurement and physical training.
Further investigation is underway to uncover the wider network and possible links with other extremist elements.
