KOLKATA: In a major success for the Special Task Force (STF), a high-profile arms smuggling syndicate was dismantled during a raid at a wholesale warehouse in Burrabazar this evening. Acting on a specific lead from arrested criminals in Bihar, the STF team intercepted a consignment of 15 sophisticated 7mm pistols and over 200 rounds of live ammunition disguised as “hardware tools.”
