Indian Naval Ship Sunayna Sails from Phuket After Three-Day Turnaround

INS Sunayna, deployed as part of the Indian Ocean Ship (IOS) SAGAR mission, departed Phuket, Thailand on April 17, 2026, after completing a high-tempo three-day Operational Turnaround, marking the successful conclusion of its second port call during the ongoing deployment.

During the visit, INS Sunayna carried out a series of professional, strategic, and cultural engagements with the Royal Thai Navy, aimed at enhancing bilateral maritime cooperation.

Commander Siddharth Chaudhary called on Rear Admiral Sathaporn Wajarat, reaffirming the shared commitment of both countries toward deeper naval collaboration and regional maritime security.
