Modi to Visit Bankura, Purulia, Jhargram and Medinipur for Rallies
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address four public meetings across West Bengal on Sunday as the Bharatiya Janata Party intensifies its campaign for the 2026 Assembly elections.
Modi is scheduled to begin his tour with a rally in Bishnupur in Bankura district, followed by successive public meetings in Purulia, Jhargram, and Medinipur.
The rallies are considered significant as the BJP looks to consolidate its support base in western and south-western districts of the state, where the party performed strongly in previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
