A senior police officer said that all known victims had been rescued, though search operations were continuing as a precaution.
“A total of 12 people have been rescued. Two are critically injured. It doesn’t look like anyone else is trapped but the search operation is still ongoing,” the officer said.

Police have indicated that a case will be registered in connection with the collapse. Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the incident, including whether structural deficiencies, unauthorized construction, or maintenance lapses contributed to the building’s failure.
