The Indian Army has successfully concluded a four-day Advanced Surgical Eye Camp at 153 General Hospital, delivering specialised healthcare services to remote regions of Leh.

The mission highlighted strong civil-military coordination, aimed at providing essential medical support to underserved border populations. Rajnath Singh lauded the initiative, describing it as a significant step in extending healthcare outreach to remote areas.

The operation was overseen by Pratik Sharma and builds on the success of Operation Drishti conducted at Command Hospital Udhampur in November 2025.

The camp was spearheaded by Arti Sarin, with surgical teams led by Sanjay Kumar Mishra. The initiative brought advanced eye care and surgical treatment to residents of Ladakh, reinforcing the armed forces’ role in humanitarian and medical outreach.
