Indian Army CEE for Agnipath Recruitment to Begin on June 1

The Indian Army has announced that the Online Common Entrance Examination for Agnipath Scheme and Regular Cadre recruitment for 2027 will be held from June 1 to June 12 across multiple centres in Andhra Pradesh, with candidates allowed to appear in thirteen different languages.

The Indian Army has announced that the Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for enrolment under the Agnipath Scheme and Regular Cadre recruitment for the year 2027 will be conducted from June 1 to June 12, 2026.

In a press release, Guntur Army Recruiting Officer Rajath Suvarna stated that the examination will take place at various centres spread across fourteen districts of Andhra Pradesh.

The districts identified for conducting the examination include Anantapur, Guntur, YSR Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal, SPS Nellore, Prakasam, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, and NTR district.

Colonel Suvarna informed that candidates can download their admit cards, review examination guidelines, and attempt mock tests through the official recruitment portal of the Indian Army.

The examination will be conducted in thirteen languages, including Telugu, Hindi, and English, enabling wider accessibility for candidates from different regions.

Officials also clarified that candidates qualifying in the online Common Entrance Examination will subsequently be invited for physical fitness tests and document verification during recruitment rallies. These rallies will later be organised by the Army Recruiting Offices located in Guntur and Visakhapatnam.

The Agnipath recruitment model continues to be one of the major entry pathways for youth seeking opportunities in the armed forces, combining short-term military service with skill development and training.
