Tata Motors Lucknow Plant Reaches 10 Lakh Vehicle Milestone,

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the 10 lakhth commercial vehicle produced at the Tata Motors plant in Lucknow, marking a major milestone in the facility’s manufacturing journey. The Lucknow plant, which began operations in 1992, is now in its 34th year and continues to play a significant role in India’s commercial vehicle sector.

Speaking at the event, Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Chairman of the Tata Group, expressed confidence that the plant will achieve the 20 lakh vehicle milestone within the next five years, citing India’s strong economic growth prospects and expanding opportunities in the automotive sector. He also highlighted the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” and “Viksit Uttar Pradesh 2047,” praising the state’s ambition to become a $1 trillion economy.
