Karnataka clears Rs 18,430 crore investment proposals
The 67th meeting of the State High-Level Clearance Committee, chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, approved capital investment projects worth ₹18,430.44 crore, expected to generate employment for nearly 15,032 people across the state.
A total of 17 project proposals received clearance during the meeting, including 11 new capital investment proposals and 6 additional capital investment proposals. The 11 new projects account for investments of ₹14,906.9 crore and are projected to create around 13,050 jobs in various districts. Meanwhile, the 6 additional proposals involve investments of ₹3,523.54 crore and are expected to generate approximately 1,982 more employment opportunities.
The approvals are aimed at boosting industrial growth, attracting fresh investments, and strengthening economic development across multiple districts in the state.
