Britannia Industries Ltd on Thursday reported a 21.56 per cent increase in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, consolidated net profit for the January-March quarter stood at Rs 679.68 crore, compared to Rs 559.13 crore recorded during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

The company also registered growth in revenue from product sales during the quarter. Revenue from the sale of products rose 7 per cent to Rs 4,685.95 crore in Q4 FY26.

The strong quarterly performance reflects continued consumer demand across Britannia’s biscuit, bakery and packaged food segments, alongside steady expansion in the fast-moving consumer goods market.

Britannia Industries Ltd is one of India’s leading food companies with a wide portfolio of biscuits, dairy products, cakes, breads and snacks.

Industry analysts noted that the company’s profit growth indicates improved operational efficiency and sustained market demand despite competitive pressures in the FMCG sector.

The results are expected to be closely watched by investors as food and packaged goods companies continue to navigate changing consumer preferences, input costs and evolving retail trends.
