The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially launched its post-result activities portal, enabling students to apply for verification of marks, obtain scanned copies of answer sheets, and seek re-evaluation of their examination papers.

The portal’s launch comes shortly after a temporary delay caused by technical issues. Originally scheduled to become operational on June 1, the rollout was postponed, leading to concerns among students and parents, particularly following reports of glitches during the answer-sheet access process earlier this month.

CBSE had earlier stated that the portal would be made operational from June 1, 2026, to facilitate a transparent, efficient, and seamless mechanism for students seeking post-result services. The board emphasized that the brief delay was intended to ensure the platform met the highest standards of evaluation protocols and system reliability.

To assist students facing difficulties or requiring clarification, CBSE has advised them to contact its tele-counselling helpline at 1800 11 8004 or reach out through the designated email support channel.

The launch also follows heightened attention on cybersecurity concerns involving the OnMark portal operated by the board’s service provider. In response, CBSE deployed cybersecurity specialists from multiple government agencies and leading academic institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), to review and strengthen the platform’s security infrastructure.

According to the board, identified vulnerabilities have been addressed and additional security checks are continuing to ensure a safe and reliable experience for students. CBSE also acknowledged the contributions of ethical hackers and concerned citizens who reported potential weaknesses, helping improve the platform’s resilience.

The developments come amid ongoing scrutiny over technical issues in the board’s post-result systems and concerns raised by some students regarding discrepancies in the On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation process. By launching the upgraded portal and implementing enhanced safeguards, CBSE aims to restore confidence in its post-result services and ensure a transparent review process for candidates.
