The National Testing Agency on Friday opened a dedicated portal for candidates of NEET-UG 2026 to submit bank account details for the refund of examination fees after the entrance examination was cancelled earlier this month.

In an official public notice, the agency stated that candidates can now log in to the NEET-UG 2026 registration portal using their existing credentials and access the refund link to provide their preferred bank account information for processing the refunds.

The notice said the move follows an earlier public notice issued on May 12 regarding the refund process for NEET-UG 2026 applicants. According to the agency, the newly activated facility has been specifically created to streamline and facilitate fee reimbursement for affected candidates.

The NEET-UG examination is one of India’s largest medical entrance tests, conducted for admissions to undergraduate medical courses across the country. The cancellation of the 2026 examination had caused concern among lakhs of aspirants and parents awaiting clarity on refunds and future examination arrangements.

Candidates have been advised to carefully submit accurate bank account details through the official portal to ensure smooth processing of refunds. Further updates regarding the examination and related procedures are expected to be issued by the NTA in due course.
