Kiren Rijiju Extends Wishes as India’s Haj 2026 Pilgrimage Begins on April 18
Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju has extended his best wishes to Haj pilgrims as India’s Haj pilgrimage for 2026 is set to commence on April 18. The first batch of pilgrims will depart for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from various embarkation points across the country.
The minister conveyed his heartfelt greetings to all pilgrims and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring a safe, smooth, and comfortable pilgrimage experience. He highlighted that the Ministry of Minority Affairs has introduced enhanced digital services, smart assistance through Haj Suvidha initiatives, improved healthcare facilities, better accommodation arrangements, and stronger connectivity to support pilgrims throughout their journey.
