Heavy Rain Expected in J&K, Ladakh, Kerala, Mahe

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Kerala and Mahe today.

It has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms over several northern states, Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The MeT Department said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Meanwhile, Gangetic West Bengal may experience Hot and Humid weather.
