N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed happiness over Kuppam Municipality in Chittoor district receiving national recognition for its development and governance initiatives.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister said Kuppam secured third place nationally under the Nanaji Deshmukh Sarvottam Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar 2025 and received a cash prize of Rs 1.5 crore.

Naidu stated that the achievement demonstrates the impact of consistent efforts towards development and public welfare. He congratulated officials, local representatives, and residents associated with the accomplishment and thanked the people of Kuppam for supporting government programmes and initiatives.

The Chief Minister also called upon officials and citizens to continue working with the same commitment and vision to transform Kuppam into a model constituency for the entire country.

Kuppam holds political significance as the long-time constituency represented by Chandrababu Naidu and has often been projected as a development-focused region under his leadership.

The recognition is expected to further strengthen the municipality’s profile in areas such as civic administration, sustainable development, and public service delivery.
