Police Launch Search Operation Following Suspected Drone Drop
Security agencies have launched an investigation after a drone was reportedly seen dropping suspicious material in agricultural fields in the Bishnah area of Jammu and Kashmir. Police and officials immediately cordoned off the area, initiated search operations, and recovered one packet from the site while further inquiries continue into the origin and purpose of the drone activity.
Police have initiated a search and investigation operation after a suspected drone activity was reported in the Bishnah area of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to officials, information was received at around 10:45 AM that an unidentified drone had allegedly dropped suspicious material in agricultural fields located in Bahadurpur village under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
Following the alert, a police team from Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with other concerned officials, rushed to the location and immediately cordoned off the area.
Authorities launched extensive search operations and began inquiries to trace the suspected material and determine the nature and origin of the drone movement.
Police said one packet has been recovered from the site so far. However, officials have not yet disclosed the contents of the recovered packet pending further examination.
Local residents are also being questioned as part of the investigation, while nearby agricultural fields and surrounding areas are being thoroughly searched for additional materials or evidence.
Security agencies are examining whether the drone movement could have links to cross-border smuggling, illegal activities, or other security-related concerns.
Officials stated that the investigation is ongoing and more details are expected after forensic examination and further inquiry into the recovered material and drone activity.
