State Government Seeks Faster Implementation of Key Schemes

Suvendu Adhikari is scheduled to travel to New Delhi on Friday as the West Bengal government seeks to fast-track infrastructure projects, improve coordination with the Centre, and attract new investments to the state.

According to official sources, the Chief Minister will leave for the national capital after attending a government programme in the morning and is expected to return to Kolkata later in the day.

The visit comes at a crucial time as the newly formed BJP government in West Bengal focuses on accelerating the implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes and strengthening the state’s development agenda.

Officials indicated that infrastructure expansion, industrial growth, and investment promotion remain key priorities for the government. The administration is also working to improve project execution and ensure timely utilization of central assistance for development initiatives.
