Polling Tomorrow for 234 Seats in Tamil Nadu, 152 Seats in West Bengal
Voting for the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal will take place tomorrow, marking a crucial phase in the 2026 state elections.
In Tamil Nadu, polling will be conducted in a single phase across all 234 Assembly constituencies. More than 5 crore 73 lakh 43 thousand voters are eligible to cast their ballots, making it one of the largest state-wide electoral exercises in the country. Authorities have completed preparations to ensure smooth and peaceful polling across the state.
In West Bengal, voting will be held for 152 Assembly seats spread across 16 districts in this phase. A total of 1,478 candidates are in the fray, making the contest highly competitive. Security arrangements have been intensified in sensitive areas to ensure free and fair elections.
