KOLKATA: The University of Calcutta (CU) campus at College Street turned into a battlefield this evening as hundreds of undergraduate students launched a violent protest against the “indefinite delay” in publishing semester results. The students, who claim the delay is causing them to miss postgraduate admission deadlines at other national and international universities, barricaded the main gates and locked several administrative staff inside the building.
