States likely to experience significant rainfall include Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.

In addition, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are expected in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, and other northeastern regions.

Meanwhile, the IMD has also warned of hot and humid weather conditions persisting in Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal until tomorrow.

Authorities have advised residents to stay alert, particularly in areas prone to heavy rainfall, lightning strikes, and strong winds, while coastal populations may face discomfort due to rising humidity levels.
