Amanda Seyfried Says ‘Mamma Mia 3’ Will Happen

Hollywood actor Amanda Seyfried has expressed confidence that a third installment of the popular Mamma Mia! franchise will eventually be made. In an interview with People magazine, Seyfried said she believes the film “will happen,” fueling excitement among fans of the hit musical series.

The original Mamma Mia! was released in 2008 and starred Seyfried alongside Meryl Streep. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, the movie followed Sophie, a young bride-to-be who invites three men to her wedding, each of whom could be her real father.

The franchise later expanded with the sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in 2018, and Seyfried’s latest remarks have renewed hopes for a much-anticipated third chapter.
