NTA Advertises CTO, CFO and HR Leadership Positions

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced a series of administrative measures aimed at strengthening the organisation and improving its operational structure.

In a statement shared on social media, the agency said four senior officers from the Government of India have been posted to the NTA as part of the restructuring and strengthening process.

According to the announcement, two officers at the Joint Secretary level have been appointed and will serve as Additional Director Generals within the organisation. In addition, two officers at the Director level have also been posted to the agency.

The NTA further stated that three specialist leadership positions — Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and General Manager (Human Resources) — have been advertised as part of efforts to enhance professional management and technical oversight.

The move comes amid increased focus on examination management, technological infrastructure, transparency, and administrative efficiency within the testing agency, which conducts several major national-level entrance examinations in India.

Education and examination reforms have remained under scrutiny in recent months, with authorities emphasising the need for stronger systems, improved accountability, and enhanced digital infrastructure in the conduct of competitive examinations.

Officials indicated that the addition of senior administrators and specialised professionals is expected to improve coordination, governance, financial management, human resource operations, and technological preparedness within the organisation.

The National Testing Agency conducts key examinations for higher education admissions and recruitment processes across the country, making institutional strengthening a significant step in improving examination administration and public confidence.
