Maruti Suzuki Posts Record April Sales, Surges 33% Year-on-Year

Domestic sales hit all-time high as strong demand for small cars drives growth

Maruti Suzuki India on Friday reported its highest-ever April sales, registering a 33.29% year-on-year growth with total sales reaching 2,39,646 units, compared to 1,79,791 units in the same month last year.

The company’s domestic sales also touched a record high of 1,91,122 units in April, up significantly from 1,42,053 units in April 2025, reflecting strong demand across segments, particularly in small cars.

The robust performance marks a strong start to the new financial year for the country’s largest carmaker, highlighting sustained consumer demand and positive momentum in the passenger vehicle market.
