Maestro Ilaiyaraaja to Score Music for ‘Valmiki Ramayana’

Celebrated music composer Ilaiyaraaja has joined director Bhavna Talwar’s upcoming film Valmiki Ramayana.

The legendary composer, known for acclaimed songs such as Rakkamma Kaiya Thattu and Sundari Kannal, will compose the music for the theatrical retelling of the ancient Hindu epic.

The makers unveiled new posters of the film on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, confirming Ilaiyaraaja’s association with the project.

The film features dialogues by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and cinematography by Binod Pradhan. ‘Valmiki Ramayana’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2.
