West Bengal Labour Minister Holds Talks With Tea Industry Representatives
The meeting focused on the welfare of tea garden workers, bonus-related issues, government policies, VB-G RAM G, and the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana benefits for workers.
West Bengal Labour Minister Arjun Singh held a meeting with representatives of the tea industry to discuss the welfare of tea garden workers and measures aimed at the overall development of the sector.
According to the official release, the discussions covered bonus-related matters, government policies for the tea sector, the VB-G RAM G scheme, and implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for tea garden workers.
The meeting comes amid continued government attention to tea garden workers’ welfare and the revival of the tea sector in North Bengal. Recent discussions involving Singh have also focused on wages, bonuses and other pending welfare issues affecting plantation workers.


Industry representatives expressed gratitude to the state authorities for their continued support and assistance.
