Ajit Doval has called for decisive global action against terrorism, asserting that there can be no double standards in dealing with terrorist threats and their sponsors.

Addressing the first International Security Forum and the 14th Meeting of High Representatives for Security Matters in Moscow, Doval said responsible nations must clearly decide whether they stand with those who sponsor terrorism or support efforts to combat it through decisive measures.

According to the Embassy of India, Moscow, Doval participated in discussions focused on “Challenges and Threats to International Security in the Context of the Emergence of the Multipolar World.”

The forum was hosted by Sergei Shoigu and brought together senior security officials from multiple countries to discuss evolving global security challenges.

During his address, Doval also highlighted the need for comprehensive reforms in international institutions established after the end of the Second World War. He argued that existing global structures must be updated to effectively address contemporary security threats and better reflect current geopolitical realities.

The National Security Adviser emphasized that reforms should provide greater representation to countries of the Global South and ensure their perspectives are adequately reflected in international decision-making processes.
