This needs to be investigated by a credible agency. If guilt is proven, punishment must follow. For judges, even suspicion is enough—they should resign, as many have done before, to keep their benefits. Impeachment affects everything; resignation does not. Resignation is often used as a clever move, but at least it removes them from office.

When large sums of cash are found in a judge’s home, ignorance is unacceptable. The process is long, now with the President, and ministries and committees will give their views. It will take time, but the matter is moving forward…
