Parth Pawar Travels in VSR Aircraft Months After Baramati Crash

Parth Pawar, Rajya Sabha MP of the Nationalist Congress Party, travelled from Mumbai to Pune on Tuesday in an aircraft belonging to VSR Aviation.

The development drew attention as some members of his family had reportedly criticised the company after one of its aircraft was involved in the Baramati air crash that claimed the life of Ajit Pawar and four others.

Parth Pawar later clarified that the booking of the VSR aircraft was purely an administrative lapse. He said the contract of the booking agent responsible for the arrangement was being terminated with immediate effect.

The crash involved a Learjet 45 operated by VSR Ventures near the Baramati air strip on January 28.
