LPG supply to Sikkim returns pre-crisis level in Sikkim
The Sikkim government on Thursday said that the LPG supply to the state has now been restored to the pre-crisis level and there is no shortage of cooking gas.
Earlier, the LPG supply had been restricted to 80 per cent by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) due to shortage of cooking gas at the national level because of the West Asia crisis.
“Through coordinated efforts between the government of Sikkim and the oil marketing companies, LPG supply to the state has now been restored to 100 per cent of pre-crisis levels,” the Food & Civil Supplies Department said in a statement.
