HDFC MF Acquires 10 Lakh Shares of Global Health

HDFC Mutual Fund has purchased a 0.37 per cent stake in Global Health, the operator of the Medanta healthcare network, through an open market transaction worth more than ₹122 crore.

HDFC Mutual Fund on Monday acquired 10 lakh shares of Global Health, which operates hospitals under the Medanta brand, in a block deal worth over ₹122 crore.

According to block deal data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the mutual fund purchased shares representing a 0.37 per cent stake in the healthcare company.

The shares were acquired at an average price of ₹1,225 per share, taking the total transaction value to approximately ₹122.50 crore.

The stake sale was carried out by Sunil Sachdeva, co-founder of Global Health.

Global Health is one of India’s leading private healthcare providers and operates the Medanta hospital network, known for its multi-speciality healthcare services across several cities.
