Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care on Thursday reported a decline in its financial performance for the March quarter of FY26.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, profit after tax (PAT) declined by 1.9 per cent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 301.46 crore during the January-March quarter.

The company had posted a profit after tax of Rs 156.10 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Revenue from operations also registered a decline during the quarter. The company reported revenue of Rs 941.32 crore for the March quarter of FY26, compared to Rs 991.83 crore recorded in the same period a year earlier, reflecting a fall of nearly 5 per cent.

Market analysts attributed the decline in revenue to changing consumer demand patterns, pricing pressures, and broader market competition in the hygiene and healthcare product segments.

Procter & Gamble continues to maintain a strong presence in India through its healthcare and hygiene brands catering to personal care and wellness categories.
