Veteran Bollywood actor Meenakshi Seshadri has said that she has shifted back to Mumbai and is actively looking for meaningful acting opportunities, signalling her return to the entertainment industry after almost three decades.
The 62-year-old actor was one of the leading stars of Hindi cinema during the 1980s and 1990s and is remembered for acclaimed performances in films such as Hero, Damini, Meri Jung, Ghayal and Ghatak.

Meenakshi stepped away from the film industry in 1997 following her marriage and later moved to the United States, where she largely remained away from public life.
Now, after many years, the actor says she is prepared to re-enter the industry and is seeking roles that are meaningful and creatively satisfying.
Meenakshi Seshadri was widely regarded for her strong screen presence, classical dance background and performances in both commercial and critically acclaimed films. Her return comes at a time when veteran actors are increasingly finding prominent roles in streaming platforms and content-driven cinema.
