The 25-year-old athlete clocked an impressive 10.09 seconds in the final on Saturday, becoming the first Indian sprinter to breach the 10.10-second barrier in the prestigious event.

In a post shared on X in Punjabi, Mann described the achievement as a proud moment for both Punjab and the nation, praising Gurindervir Singh for his dedication and outstanding performance on the national stage.
The new record is being seen as a major milestone for Indian athletics, particularly in sprint events where breaking the 10.10-second mark had long been considered a significant benchmark.
