Filmmaker David Fincher’s upcoming feature film The Adventures of Cliff Booth, featuring Brad Pitt reprising his role as stuntman Cliff Booth, is set for release on Netflix in December this year. The film serves as a sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and will first premiere in IMAX theatres globally before streaming online.
Filmmaker David Fincher’s latest feature film The Adventures of Cliff Booth is scheduled for release on Netflix in December this year, the streaming service has officially announced.
The film marks the return of Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, the stuntman character he portrayed in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood directed by Quentin Tarantino. The upcoming project is reportedly set in 1977 Hollywood and continues the story of Booth in a new cinematic chapter.
According to Netflix, the film will first receive an exclusive global IMAX theatrical release beginning November 25 for a two-week run before making its streaming debut on December 23.

The original Once Upon a Time in Hollywood received widespread critical acclaim and won several awards, including an Academy Award for Brad Pitt’s performance as Cliff Booth. The announcement of the sequel has generated considerable excitement among cinema fans, especially due to the collaboration between David Fincher and Brad Pitt, who have previously worked together on acclaimed films such as Fight Club, Se7en, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Industry observers believe the combination of Fincher’s filmmaking style, Pitt’s return to the iconic role, and the nostalgia of 1970s Hollywood could make the film one of Netflix’s major global releases of the year.
