A R Rahman to compose for Mani Ratnam’s next film

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s production banner Madras Talkies on Friday announced A R Rahman will be the music composer for the director’s upcoming film, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi.

Ratnam and Rahman have a long history of collaborations. The duo have worked together on projects such as “Roja”, “Kaatru Veliyidai”, “Chekka Chivantha Vaanam”, “OK Kanmani”, “Raavanan”, “Ponniyin Selvan” (1 and 2), and “Thug Life”, among others.

The banner shared the news with a post on its official Instagram handle, which featured the poster with the details written over it.
