South Korean President Visit India from April 19 – 21

President of South Korea Lee Jae Myung will undertake a state visit to India from April 19 to 21, accompanied by First Lady Kim Hea Kyung and a high-level delegation of ministers, senior officials, and business leaders. This will be his first visit to India as President.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, President Lee will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including shipbuilding, trade, investment, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, critical and emerging technologies, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people ties.

The two leaders are also expected to discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest. Prime Minister Modi will host a lunch in honor of the visiting dignitary during the visit.

President Lee is also scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu, while External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will call on him separately.

India and South Korea share a strong multifaceted partnership built on longstanding civilizational links and common democratic values. The visit is expected to deepen existing cooperation and open new avenues for collaboration in emerging sectors.
