Foundation Stone Laid for Basuki Secondary School in Sudurpaschim Province
The foundation stone for a new school building being constructed with India’s assistance was laid on Tuesday in Achham district.
Narayan Singh and Jwala Singh Saud jointly inaugurated the construction work for Basuki Secondary School.
According to a press release issued by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, the school building is being developed with financial assistance worth NPR 38 million provided by the Government of India under a High-Impact Community Development Project.
The initiative is aimed at improving educational infrastructure and providing better learning facilities for students in the region. Officials said the project reflects the continued development partnership and close ties between India and Nepal.
India has supported several educational, health, and infrastructure projects across Nepal under its community development assistance programmes, particularly in rural and remote areas.
